The lecture discusses the historical development of the concept of work and topical trends. The discussion on educating for work and compulsory labour occurs at the example of children in residential care after 1945. The forced labour stands in the center of the lecture, therefore we visit the international itinerant exhibition in Steyr.
The lecture is a cooperation with the „Studienrichtungsvertretung Geschichte“ which takes over the travel expenses to Steyr
