The students will acquire basic skills of scholarly, especially historical practice in the field of Roman antiquity.

The transfer of skills in dealing with ancient sources of different genres and scholarly literature and the application of relevant and helpful methods will be transmitted by looking at sources.

Lecture in combination with discussion.

Written paper, short written exam, exercises

Relevant literature will be announced during the course.

Online-Registration. Maximum up to 30 participants.

Due to substantial differences in the allocation of ECTS-Credits in various curricula (teacher training programs/specialized degree programs), the requirements for this course vary. Information will be provided by the instructor at the beginning of the course.
