Critical assessment of the Athenian democracy and its sources.
Introduction to various aspects of the Athenian democracy and its main sources. Readings of research literature and contextual criticism of exemplary historical evidences belonging to different categories of sources.
Combination of lecture, reading tasks and source-presentations of the participants
Participation in discussions, presentation.
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
