VO Teaching and Learning: 'I learn, therefore I am.' - An introduction to practice-related teaching and learning theories

Students are able to analyse and interpret different teaching and learning situations. They are able to find and apply suitable theories to these situations. 

Terms: Implicit and explicit learning, briefing and constructing, troubles and motivation

Theories:  behaviour modification, observational learning, information processing, Angebot-Nutzung-Modell (from Helmke)

Methods and didactics: relation between content, aim and method; an integrative pattern of a critical communicative, constructivist, action-oriented and competence-oriented pragmatic didactic approach. 

Lecture with exercises and discussions 

Written exam: analysis and interpretation of a teaching and learning situation
