The students know the curricula of literature phase and various fields of reading and teaching literature in classical languages. They are able to critically analyse and develop teaching material. They are enabled to plan teaching units based on theoretical knowledge of teaching languages. They get insights to the didactic potential of various media and are able to apply these in practice.

Teaching objectives of teaching classical languages during literature phase in view of respective curricula; overview of central topics of teaching literature (forms of reading, interpretation, lexis and grammar in view of literature, differentiation); analysis of literature; didactic processing of the reading modes as defined in curricula and planning teaching units

Presentations, individual-, pair- and group work

Combination of homework/portfolio and final exam.
