Successful participants of this module understand the most important concepts of imperative programming and can apply them in practice.  They have developed the ability to acquire similar concepts independently.  They are capable of analyzing existing computer programs and of designing and implementing their own.

Introduction to imperative computer programming; introduction to C; data types; variables; instructions; functions; arrays; pointer; modularization; implementation of elementary algorithms and data structures; integrated software development environments; debugging

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

The lecture is given as online course with recorded lecture videos and a moderated discussion forum in OLAT.
