Getting acquainted with important historic approaches to soteriology and with their critical systematic appraisal by Dramatic Theology.
“Christ has redeemed the world” is a central tenet of the Christian faith. Yet, the question of how this redemption was effected and what it redeems from found many varied answers through the centuries and – surprisingly – was not definitively decided by the magisterium of the Church. In the seminar we will get to know central historical approaches and then analyze them with the methodical instruments of Dramatic Theology to develop a critical appraisal. The goal would be to draw closer towards a systematic and topical soteriology.
Student presentation and seminar thesis.
