Ability to autonomous critical orientation in the recent debates in social philosophy.

Short introduction to the decision-theoretical backgrounds of social agency (prisoners‘ dilemmata, „tragedy of the commons“ etc.); introduction to the critical discussion of John Rawls’ ‘Theory of Justice’ which provided the axis around which many later approaches to social philosophy revolve.

Lecture with discussion, reading assignments and other active components by the students.

Evaluation of active components, written final exam.
