Basics of relationship between religion, politics, and the public sphere.

The growing religious pluralism in modern societies necessitates a new relationship between religion, politics and the public sphere. Neither a state church nor a laicistic privatization of religion match with the needs of our current situation. Which models enable religions to be present in the public sphere and are at the same time compatible with religious pluralism?

Discussion of different texts and student presentations.
