Acquisition of competences and a critical attitude in dealing with historical sources and representations of Austrian History as well as the ability to present the newly-acquired knowledge in oral and written form.

Reading and interpreting of classical sources (as well as artefacts, noise and odour sources) and representations of Austrian History; identification of the scholarly formulation of questions in history, historical representation and narratives; reading and evaluation of historiographical texts and analysis of their suitability as historical sources.

Preparatory phase, joint interpretation of source texts with presentations; OLAT.

Continuous participation, short presentations with discussions and handout; small written exam.
