The aim of the course is to introduce students in the form of thematically oriented units into the source work and the most important methods of the subject, or to deepen them in practice.

Discussion of selected source types (especially visual sources) based on secondary literature as well as primary and prepared sources

Active participation, practical exercises, group work, discussions and reflection of the presented examples, writing of a source commentary.

Written presentation of source-critical considerations on a source of the subject economic and social history (about 5 pages).
