The students can ask a clearly formulated and well defined research question; they can independently analyze this question and present the result of their research in a scientific manner; they can refute critical remarks with good arguments or they can constructively use those remarks and finally write a scientific essay.

Having discussed propaedeutic literature and some paradigmatic essays of this field of research we develop questions dealing with the history of emotions and the significance of emotions in political communication, their role in political and economical decisions and during the introduction of technological innovations.
