Knowledge of the history of the second Vatican Council and its systematic understanding.

On the basis of an elementary history of the council a systematic interpretation is unfolded in the exit of the ideas of the council popes. This is based on the relevation in its relationship to dignity and freedom of the human person. This gift of God, preceding to all ecclesiastical actions, defines the relationships of the „ecclesia ad intra“ (Lumen gentium and the corresponding decrees) and the „ecclesia ad extra“ („Gaudium et spes“ and the corresponding decrees and declarations).
