Students master basic experimental methods of physical chemistry and the data analysis. They acquire multidisciplinary key skills in teamwork, oral ,and written communication.
Fundamentals of physicochemical measurement technology: mass, temperature and pressure measurement, vacuum generation, evaluation of experimental data and uncertainty, curve fitting; e.g. Measuring reaction enthalpy, electrolytic conductivity and molecular weights; Phase equilibria in solid-liquid and liquid-gas systems.

Script and other information in eCampus/OLAT.
Succesful passing of the Modules 1, 2, 6, 15 (Physics, Mathematics A, B; Physical Chemistry B).
Sign up till mid of February, even without meeting the prerequisites. Deadline for meeting the prerequisites is Fri, 19.04.2019, 23:59, only then participation is allowed. On Monday, 29.4.2019 (8:30-9:30, HS6, compulsory attendance) there will be a written examination about the script-information (see OLAT).
Each participant is in the lab for 11 days, 12:00-18:00 each.
In order to avoid schedule collisions with OC-lab courses, the PC lab-course will be planned in parallel: Presumably, course "A" 14.5.-29.5., course "B" 3.6.-26.6.19. Other individual collisions should be communicated by the participants between 22.4-26.4.2019. A time schedule will be available (OLAT) by 3.5.2016.
An informational meeting (organisation, Excel, ...) is scheduled for Mo, 6.5.2019, 8:15-9:45, HS6 (compulsory attendance).
Additionally, oral examinations take place for each experiment directly before conducting it (JMHaus 30102, at 12:00-13:00).
