Written (seminar work on exemplary topics on human geography), oral (seminar paper presentation) and discursive (lecture discussion) skills will be trained.

In the course of this seminar, participants will:

  • select a topic in the field of human-geographical mountain research,
  • search and critically evaluate international literature,
  • develop own research questions,
  • design an appropriate structure of the seminar work,
  • write a seminar paper,
  • and present and discuss key findings.

Human-geographical mountain research (theme).

  • Inputs of the lecturer,
  • literature review,
  • scientific writing,
  • and oral presentation and discussion.

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
