·         get to know concepts and terminology related to the topic of the course 

·         raise their awareness about the existing literature on the topic

·         be knowledgeable about the findings of the existing research

·         develop a critical view of the phenomenon

·         gain deeper understanding of the specific country contexts

·         analyze current practices about inclusion and schooling processes

·         develop an ability to judge the historical exposure on the development of inclusion

This course is planned to discuss the topics such as disability, equity, inequality, discrimination and inclusion from both a national and a global perspective. The challenges, efforts, barriers, and facilitators to the life of people with disabilities and the education of them will be tackled by focusing on a variety of perspectives from different parts of the world. Students will be in touch with international literature, national and international policy documents on the topic. At the end of the course, students are expected to develop an understanding of being disabled, marginalization, and inclusion. The topics of the seminar can be specified and altered according to the interests of the students as discussed in the first session.

Verfassen einer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit

Lehrveranstaltung mit immanentem Prüfungscharakter, bei der die Beurteilung aufgrund von regelmäßigen schriftlichen und mündlichen Beiträgen der Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern erfolgt.

Wird noch bekanntgegeben

Die Texte die sich mit erschwerten Lernbedingungen (Behinderung, Armut, Migration etc.) werden auch fokussiert.
