603100 VO Theories and Paradigms of Educational Sciences
winter semester 2019/2020 | Last update: 12.10.2020 | Place course on memo listStudents are able to understand and distinguish main styles of reasonning, theories, and discourses in education. They can compare theories and its implications and are able to historically and systematically rethink developments and classifications in the field of education. Finally, students learn to develop educational and/or pedagogical (research) questions and to find academic valid answers.
This lecture seeks to explore traditions and paradigms in education and educational reasonning. It will cover historical and systematic trajectories of thinking and understanding education in Humanities, Cultural and Social Sciences to understand the complex relation between theories and practices and their implications.
written exam at the end of semester, scheduled for Jan. 27th, 3.30pm (time of class)
- five open questions to topic of the course, max 10 p each
- built your own argument to answer
- you've got 80 min to finish
Garding will be as follows: ≥26p = 4; ≥33p = 3; ≥39p = 2; ≥45p = 1
Will be provided on OLAT and at the library.
