641106 UE Greek Morphology and Syntax I
winter semester 2019/2020 | Last update: 14.09.2023 | Place course on memo listParticipants of the course "Ancient Greek grammar and stylistics", which is scheduled for 2 semsters, are expected to acquire the the basics of morphology and syntax of ancient Greek. Additionally, they should gain a firm knowledge of the basic vocabulary of ancient Greek, determined by its' frequency of occurence in classical Greek texts.
Morphology of ancient Greek (classes of declensions and conjugations, particles ...). Syntax of ancient Greek (parts of the uncomplex sentence, complements of sentences ...)
Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).
Written exam at the end of the course. In order to get a certificate, students are expected to attend the course regularly and to participate actively in the discussion of the topics of the lessons.
