Students will gain a good overview of content, methods, and approaches of Ethno-Geogeography, as an in-depth lecture of  Population and Social Geography. An important teaching aim refers to the field of preservation and disappearance of ethno-linguistic minorities. 

Introduction to ethno-terminology, genesis of minorities, geographic-oriented aspects of minorities, driving forces of assimilation, ethnic conflicts and strategies for solution  

input oriented course (by getting students involved)
