Participants of the course "Ancient Greek morphology and syntax", which is scheduled for 2 semsters, are expected to acquire the the basics of morphology and syntax of ancient Greek. Additionally, they should  gain a firm knowledge of the basic vocabulary of ancient Greek, determined by its' frequency of occurence in classical Greek texts.

Morphology of ancient Greek (classes of declensions and conjugations, particles ...). Syntax of ancient Greek (parts of non-complex sentences, complements of sentences ...)

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Final written exam, compulsory attendance

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
