This is a second course on statistical data analysis. Students will learn about designs of data collection and statistical models commonly used for analyzing data in the social sciences with a particular focus on linear models.

1. Statistical inference: estimation and significance tests

2. Comparing two groups

3. Association between categorical variables

4. Linear regression and correlation

5. Multiple linear regression

6. Analysis of variance

7. Analysis of covariance

8. Statistical model building

9. Logistic regression

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
