winter semester 2020/2021 | Last update: 25.08.2020 | Place course on memo listBasic knowledge on Modern History from the Reformation to the beginning of 1st World War, particularly in the subject areas of politics, society, religion, cullture and science (1500-1914).
The lecture provides an overview of the European history from the Reformation to the beginning of the 1st World War. Special attention is paid to the dimensions of politics, society, religion, culture and science. Furthermore, the effects of methodical innovation in historical research on the interpretation of modern processes of change are dealt with.
