what are physical quantities, use of energy concept and energy forms in engineering, energy conservation,  use of physical Equations, introduction to classical fields (use of Gauss and Stokes law), basic knowledge on vibrations and Fourieranalysis, knowledge in electrical measurement concepts

basic concepts in physics; selected chapter from classical physics (e.g.: measurements and accuracy, electricity and magnetism, oscilations and waves, Fourier analysis, introduction to quantum machanics, atoms and solid state physics)

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
