Scientifical review of current topics in the fields of Italian costitutional law and law of the European Union, also with regard to South Tyrol. Own topic suggestions of students are welcome.

The course is dedicated to new developments in Italian Constitutional Law and in European Union Law, also in relation to the autonomy of South Tyrol. 

The seminar is part of the interdisciplinary TIERS Project (Innsbruck European Research Seminars) within the Euregio Mobility Program. Students and teachers from the School of International Studies ot Trento University, from the Institute of European and International Law, the Institute of Political Science and the Institute of Italian Law of Innsbruck University and the Faculty of Economics of the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano as well as researchers from EURAC Research will participate in a seminar which will take place at innsbruck University from 5th to 6th May 2021. 

The seminar aims also at assisting students interested in developing a thesis or dissertation in the fields of Italian Constitutional law and European Union law, especially with a focus on South Tyrol and its autonomy.

Topics wil be prepared by students and presented and discussed in class. Short presentations by teachers and invited guests will be given.

Oral presentation and written copy thereof as housework in the amount of 10-15 pages (Studienplan 2001, Österreichisches Diplomstudium) or 25-30 pages (Studienplan 2018), active participation and the participation in the TIERS Seminar is taken into account in the evalutation.
