Knowledge of basic snowboarding techniques (according to the Austrian Snowboard Curriculum); Teaching how to approach snowboarding from a methodological and age- and gender-specific angle; Being able to evaluate different slopes and safety aspects; Applying legal and organisational knowledge; Knowledge of judging criterias;

There is the opportunity to achieve the “Snowboard Übungsleiter Freestyle” if participants achieve grade “A” in the course.

Coaching and leading groups effectively, freestyle-specific methods and didactics, improvement of individual performance level

Single tasks, work in (small) groups, individual leading of groups (teaching a group a specific snowboarding technique)

Assessment of individual motor performance at the end of the course; Assessment of practical teaching skills on snow in combination with an oral exam
