We deal with the history of Campania, especially the history of Pompeii. The material legacy, the hisotry of the excavation and the research tradition are analysed as well as the living condidion in the ancient Vesuvian cities.
Theoretical approaches from poststructuralism and critical gender studies are presented as an offer for historical analysis.
Introduction by the lecturer, presentations and discussions. Digtial teaching with elements of blended learning.
Active participation in the class, presentation of a seminar paper and submission of the BA thesis.
Will be announced in the lecture.

This SE is also valid as SE for the Bachelor Thesis for students of the BA History (2009 / 2015) as well as a Workshop including Bachelor Thesis (focus on Ancient History) for students of the BA CleO (2009).
