The students know different urban and rural regions, spatial structures, space-defining processes and effects in the human-environment system. In addition, they can assess the economic use of landscape potential, make regionalizations, and identify spatial issues.

The excursion leads to Munich. On the basis of the Isar metropolis, various urban geographic questions are explored and discussed on the spot.
