It is the goal to communicate a broad view of histological methods and their application to label various tissues, organs, and cells.
The fundamentals of histological fixation, staining, and embedding will be presented. Special attention will be paid to immunocytochemisty and the generation of antibodies. In addition, the theoretical foundation of in situ hybridization will be taught.
Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course
Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"
