Students will aquire knowledge for analysing, conceptualising and managing stakeholder relations in organizations. Analytical competences for evaluating and discussing economic, political and ethical aspects of managing stakeholder-relations in the contemporary context of shifting governance structures in organisations are developed.

The lecture start with the managerial concept of economic governance, derived form agency theory. It then introduces the concept of governmentality as a perspective for discussing contemporay form of managing stakeholder relations. Finally, dialogical models and model of open governance are discussed in relation to corporated communication.

Instructions, lectures, plenary and group discussions, reading assignments, student presentations.

Written exam

Will be provided in the lecture.

Successful completion of the mandatory courses referred to in § 7 Z 2 and 3

Registration is always done for interactive courses such as SE, UE, PS or AG.

If the student's status changes from "Registration requested" to "Registration confirmed" after the registration deadline for the MA programme, he/she is automatically registered for the VO (or VU) belonging to the module.
