Developing language skills and language awareness; expanding one’s vocabulary; improving textual analysis skills by dealing with socially relevant topics; oral and written text production;

 

Understanding long and complex texts in detail; selective and global reading, reading for general orientation, specific information and detailed understanding; producing descriptions and other texts taking genre conventions into account; writing argumentative essays;

Interactive teaching techniques helping students acquire, further develop and apply language skills; 

2 written tests (mid-term and end-term test); homework assignments; responsibility and learner autonomy;

The language learning materials will be provided by the lecturer;
