720200 VU Specific Scientific Methods in Psychology: Data analysis with linear models in R
winter semester 2021/2022 | Last update: 22.10.2021 | Place course on memo listParticipants acquire the competence to apply linear models to their own data and interpret the results appropriately. The emphasis is on a modern approach based on modelling data using regression. The course will cover the most common situtations and problems that arise in practice when doing quantitative research.
Participants should possess basic conpetence in statistical testing (no beginner course).
Experimental and observational studies, linear regression and generalized linear models, repeated measurements, causal inference.
Lecture + exercises. In the exercises (with laptop) the freely available statistical programme R will be used.
Test with own laptop
