They know the basic properties of psychological tests built on classical test theory and item-response theory. Students reflect and critically assess tests and test results and acquire knowledge and skills for professional assessment (e.g., in education) as well as for their own research.
Measurement theory with measurement structures for ordinal and interval scales (extensive measurement, difference structures, bisymmetry, conjoint measurement), classical test theory (reliability, validity) and test construction, item-response-theory (Rasch, Birnbaum), qualitative measurement using knowledge structures
