The participants improve their ability to solve ill-defined problemes by identifying their elements and devising possible solutions.

Participants play the simulation-strategy puzzle game Train valley. The players have to manage a railway network including stations and trains and build new train tracks with the money earned in the game. This requires the ability to consider all the elements involved for the resolution of a problem.

Participants will have time until December 31 to play the game for a minimum of 12 hours and to reach certain in game achievements. In a coaching session (November) we will discuss various aspects of the skill, experiences and improvements.  In additon, the participation in one of the other sessions (either Q&A Session oder Feedback Session) is mandatory. During this entire period students will have support to solve technical and game problems.

Progress will be evaluated by standardized tests which will be answered pre- and post-training. In addition achievements within the video game are tracked and analyzed. All participants will receive a a softskill map visualizing their skills.
