In many (not only) educational contexts, teams are the carriers of performance processes. Individuals who have to cooperate in order to achieve their goal become a team. The process of becoming a team (and the necessary conceptual distinction between "teams" - "groups" and "cliques"), the dynamics in teams, the possible lines of conflict, functionality and dysfunctionality as well as counselling and (further) development of teams are the focus of the discussion in this course. The following topics will be covered:

·         From lone warrior on the assembly line to team member: Historical development of the human relations approach

·         Person and group: From individual to team - developmental phases in groups and teams
