Students can identify and analyse different uses of language, scholarly and non-scholarly; they understand the differences and similarities between different scholarly methods and the conditions of a fruitful interdisciplinary exchange.
Elements of contemporary philosophy of language; methodological peculiarities of various scholarly disciplines; conditions for the transfer of results from other disciplines.
Lecture with discussion.
Oral exam.
