Advanced knowledge and competence to critical analysis of works from an important epoch in the history of ideas. 

Contrary to a widespread monolithic cliché of “the enlighthenment”, the philosophical works and positions from this influential epoch in fact make up a multifaceted picture. In this seminar, we want to underpin this along selected works of German, English, French and Italian Philosophers (including less known ones).

Presentations by the students and discussion.

For Bachelor's Programme Philosophy at Faculty of Catholic Theology (2021): positive completion of compulsory module 1.
