This teaching event, which is conceived as a continuation to "Psychology for Jurists I", focuses themes in the context of legally professional relevance.

One aspect will be the role of memory functions. In al legal procedure the memory function of a witness plays a very central role. Referring to this the lecture offers insights into the stand of the current researchs in neuropsychology. Furthermore it will be discussed the method oft he cognitive interview, which serves to save the reliability of information by witnesses, victims and suspected. The examination of particularly influenceable person groups is also another point of interest as well as psychological theories of suggestibility and social influencing control. A sociopolitically important aspect is the question if there exists a freewill.
