Simulation of the main steps of an approval procedure based on a real case.
This Moot Court has several innovative aspects: Firstly, it is the first time that a moot court on economic law/environmental law takes place. Secondly, the Moot Court is based on a cooperation with other universities: Teams of all other Austrian Law Faculties including the Vienna University of Economics and Business will participate. In addition there will be a cooperation with partners from practice (in Innsbruck: Greiter/Pegger/Kofler). The Verbund Österreich will provide the relevant documents of a real infrastructure project and organize an inspection of a relevant facility. The closing event will take place at the Vienna University of Economics and Business where the winner team will be rewarded.
The Moot court not only gives students the chance to gain an insight into practice, it also opens the opportunity to get into contact with members of other universities and representatives of practice.
Simulations of a real case under the guidance of university teachers and practitioners. The most successful team will be awarded a prize.
