Curr. 2021 § 5 (1) 15: This module serves to gain in-depth knowledge in selected subject areas of sociology. The students specialise in one or more subject(s) and acquire in-depth knowledge in them.

How do we define "work"? How does employment develop in modern societies and at the present time? To what extent do we experience a "subjectification" of work? And an increase in "precarious" work? How is work organized and regulated? What does work have to do with gender?

In this course you will learn about theoretical approaches and empirical developments of work and organization.
