Curr. 2021 § 6 (2) 9: This module serves to expand the study programme as well as the acquisition of additional qualifications.
There is no way around theoretical reflection to understand our complex contemporary world between the exhaustion of individuals, neoliberal competitive society and climate change, let alone considering transformative action.
With the help of renowned experts, including international guests, who will each contribute relevant pleas for particular arguments, from Adorno, Bourdieu, Butler, Deleuze, Derrida to Foucault, Freud, Hegel, Heidegger, Keynes, Marx, Latour, Luhmann, Rawls and Spivak, we would like to discuss the question of Why? (Why Adorno? etc.):
1) Why did the specific thought become so significant in its time of origin?
2) What are the proposed tools of thinking?
3) And above all: Why do we necessarily need its theoretical weapons again today?
