Students are able to work scientifically on an issue selected from racism research and racism-critical research.

Contents:

This seminar introduces into the history, concepts and theories of racism research while discussing the important debates on anti-racism. The theoretical and practical reflection of racism should help to better understand the historical and current migration societies, their exclusions and the struggles for recognition.

Text reading, Discussions, group work; seminar work

Assessment:

ourse with formative assessment, i.e., students are graded on the basis of written and/or oral tasks assigned regularly over the term. (Text reading, discussion participation, keynote speeches, scientific work)
