The current framework for this is provided by the UN's Agenda 2030, the 17 development goals and their significance for educational work. The heterogeneous group of Austrian and international students works participatively, interactively, across studies with each other and implements small educational projects together in the sense of "think globally, act locally" on the SDGs. The group visits local initiatives in Austria like Südwind Tirol, Impact Hub Tirol, Welthaus Innsbruck, Klimabündnis but also - via online tools - get in contact with international experts (e.g. University of Pretoria, South Africa).

According to the Covid 19 situation in spring 2021, the seminar can be carried out digitally or face-to-face:
Based on interactive, processorientated, interdisciplinary learning sessions, approach to scientific literature, innovative methods (service design, anti bias approach, Betzavta), self-reflection, project design and implementation, group discussions (online and face to face), the work on specific methods for the target group, theoretical input and visits (or online inteviews) of institutions working in Tyrol in the field of Global Education (Klimabündnis Tirol, Welthaus Innsbruck, InfoEck – Jugendinfo Tirol and Südwind Tirol) the main topics and learning methods of Global Citizenship Education (GCED)  and the key competences of the future (UNESCO) shall be approached.

- Openness for learning experiences in a heterogeneous group (language, origin, subject, etc.)

- Interest in educational work and global issues

The proseminar deals with all SDGs, emphasizing the indivisibility of the environmental, social and economic spheres. Depending on their study background, students can set their own priorities and decide which SDGs they want to work on specific projects - always in the context of education (SDG 4 "High Quality Education")
