Architecture around water.
The topic of the seminar is the historical handling of water in architecture. In addition to bridges, aqueducts, water towers, sluices, dams and hoists, water is also discussed as a traffic route and means of propulsion. Further aspects will be irrigation and drainage systems as well as representative uses in public baths, public wells and fountains.
The individual topics will be prepared by the students in short presentations and presented via video conference. If the Covid-19 situation allows it, an excursion is planned in the immediate vicinity (Hall or Schwaz).
The introduction on Tuesday, 13.10. at 14.15 will take place at the institute, all further dates will probably be held virtually.
Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations".
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
