Elective Module 1: Interdisciplinary Skills (10 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: The registration requirements specified in the respective curricula must be met.
Learning Outcome: This module serves to widen the study programme and to acquire additional qualifications.
Courses with a total of 10 ECTS-Credits can be selected freely from the curricula of the bachelor's and/or diploma programmes at the University of Innsbruck.

Elective Module 2: Excursion (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students acquire an understanding of how architecture is embedded in a cultural and geographic context.

Elective Module 3: Internship (5 ECTS-Credits)

Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students apply their knowledge and skills acquired during the study programme in a professional environment and acquire additional qualifications. Having completed the module, the students are familiar with the job world and/or scientific practice.
To test and apply the acquired knowledge and skills and/or to orientate about the conditions in the professional practice and to acquire work-relevant qualifications, the students pass an internship covering 5 ECTS-Credits (120 hours). The internship may be passed also during the lecture-free period. Before starting the internship, it must be approved by the Director of Studies. The internship must be passed in an architectural office/research project home or abroad. The duration, scope and contents of the work done must be confirmed by the institution with a written confirmation.

Elective Module 4: Thematic Specialisation (5 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students gain in-depth insights into special perspectives and working techniques of the various topics within the architecture and set individual emphases.
In this module, students can pass a not-yet passed course from compulsory module 20: Thematic Specialisation.Notes:
