Confident and convincing in stage presence, economic in use of the voice, pleasant tone of voice, clear pronunciation, melodic vocal line, variation in volume, rhythmic through the use of pauses, interesting through lively and image-rice teaching language

This class has a focus on the connection between theory and practical impelementation. The teacher will lecture on and lead exercises for training the following areas: - Relationship between breathing, body movement and speaking voice - Public speaking tools - Using the voice economically, individual speaking pitch - Personal impact, charisma, presentation - Basics of body language - teaching language and image-rich language The teaching content is tailored to the needs of course participants and is anchored in the context of their degree study programmes

Exercises from the classical elocution training, bodywork, breahing and awareness exercise, articulation exercises, concentration exercises, Groupwork and one-to-one work, presentation, listening, reflection, role-play Teacher and student will agree on individual learning goals, experimentation, aspects of autonomous learning Problem-based engagement with rhetorical content practice-orientated and competence-orientated preparation of / processing of course content

Assessment will be based on regular oral revision of content, discussion contributions, practical Tasks and a presentation.
