Students will gain an overview of learning theories for adolescents and adults, learn to compare, evaluate and apply theories, and choose an appropriate theory for their own research question.
Contemporary learning theories (Lave, Wenger, Mezirow, Kegan, Alheit, etc.) and their empirical applications.
The course will be very active and interactive: self-organized learning, peer learning, discussions, working groups, practical exercises.
Active participation and exchange in seminar and completion of the exercises.
