The students are capable of understanding the integrative connection between the single theological areas, and of arguing objectively for their choice of studies. They know about the development and composition of a scientific assignment. They posess the most important formal skills to compose a scientific assignment. They are capable of an independent evaluation of religious phenomena even outside the Abrahamic religions, especially those of religious change.

Through a perception of the phenomen "religion" in its plurality, the different perspectives and experiential contexts shall be considered, especially in regard of the transformation of every religious reality in the present. In the next step we take a look into single religious traditions and learn about different ways to think about "religion" (phenomenologic, sociologically, functional). Finaly we focus on the perspective of the Catholic Church since Nostra aetate.
