The students are able to design and carry through a scientific study and to present the findings in different contexts. Furthermore, they have developed advanced skills with regard to presentation, the oral and written argumentation of complex scientific findings. They are able to critically reflect their acquired knowledge, to deepen it in a systematic way and bring it up to date.

Discussion and reflection of various methodological issues of scientific research: developing the research question, developing concepts, research design and the practice of research - based on the master thesis projects of the students.

It is required that students already have some basic ideas on the topic, research question and research design. It is expected that the students have absolved compulsory module 5, that the MA-thesis is registered and that the students have a draft-version of their concept for the MA-thesis.
