Power and abuse of power in the Roman Catholic Church are currently coming under more and more public discussion and criticism. It is about hierarchical structures, lack of role of women in leadership positions, but also spiritual and sexual abuse of power. The seminar will deal with power and abuse of power in the Roman Catholic Church from the perspective of canon law and will look at countermeasures and future legal changes.
