Students will be able to consider quite a few contours of Christian spirituality and relate them to their own experiences or non-experiences.
To which God can man pray?
Relationship of love and freedom: de-threatening the relationship with God.
Speech acts of biblical spirituality: lament and doxology, petition and thanksgiving.
Theological aspects of popular piety and veneration of saints.
Marian devotion. Pilgrimage, also interreligious.
Lecture with discussion portions, accompanying reading provided.
Oral exam (online), written exam
Each own literature discoveries on this topic area.
Additional literature will be announced at the beginning of the lecture.
